手塑是陶瓷藝術基礎中的基礎，在傳統工匠式的訓練中，學徒往往需要長時間進行備土及手塑的練習，以為日後的創作打好基礎。

 

顧名思義，手塑是以雙手為主要工具，直接接觸泥土，直觀感受陶土的不同狀態，在瞭解不同狀態下泥土的可能性，再以此為基礎進行創作。與拉坯有所不同的是，手塑不再拘泥於型態，從而能夠給予創作者更多的自由度。在使用適當技法的前提下，手捏亦可完成相當精細與工整的作品。

 

這個課程將會分8堂進行，課程將主要教授各種手捏的基本技巧，適合對手捏有興趣的初學者。課堂中同學會完成3件器物，體驗以不同手捏技巧製作出獨一無二的作品。由於每堂課程後都會有相關功課需完成，本課程適合有心認真學習手塑基礎的同學們報讀。

Class 1 (wk1): 教授基本陶藝知識(陶瓷製作過程, 認識陶土, 搓泥等), 學習手捏 

Class 2  (wk2): 學習軟泥板創作

Class 3-4  (wk3-4): 學習盤泥條創作

Class 5-6  (wk5-6): 學習硬泥版創作

Class 7-8  (wk7-8): 認識陶藝顏料(釉藥及釉下彩), 作品上釉

3. 為保證課程進度及質量，開課後將不設課程時間更改服務
4. 如未能於課程時間內完成作品，學員可另約時間加堂，加堂價格為400HKD/2hrs

5. 若作品長/寬/高（任一）尺寸超過20cm，則需另加500HKD窯燒費用。

6. 作品燒製完成後，需於收到通知後2個星期內取件。請留意如逾時未能領取作品，我們將自行處理亦不會另行通知。

In the traditional ceramic art training programs, hand-build is always considered as the foundation of a great artisan. As the basic method in ceramic art, hand-build allows the creators to use their hands as tools to communicate with the clay, which allows us to create art pieces with freedom.

 

There will be 8 classes in this course package, please note there will be assignments after each class.​

Class 3-4  (wk3-4):  Coil build technique

Class 5-6  (wk5-6):  Leather-hard slab build technique

Class 7-8  (wk7-8):  Get to know glaze & underglaze

2. Fee for materials and firing are inclusive.

3. To ensure the teaching quality & progress of the class, the class schedule cannot be modified upon attending the first class.

4. If you cannot finish your work on time, you may reserve another timeslot to attend additional class(es). The class fee will be 400HKD/2hrs. 

5. For works with width/length/height over 20cm, an additional 500HKD firing fee will be required.

5. We will inform you via Instagram / FB DM once your work is ready for pick-up. Please kindly arrange to pick up your work within 2 weeks. For any overdue works, we will disposed of them without any further notice.
